I nearly fainted when I saw the Knitty.com Spring edition. Every single adult garment pattern has plus-sized instructions! That’s two cardigans, one short-sleeved or no-sleeved sweater, one long-sleeved sweater, one bolero/wrap and one vest. Long Live Knitty!

I can’t recall, but I THINK many / most of the patterns knitty puts up have at least some plus sizes - I love their site, and a huge chunk of the things they put up there

  2. 2 Cathy in MN

WOW! Ester on the Knitty.com site is wonderful! What yummy yarn do I have that would do it justice?

Wow, that’s great!! Amy Singer, the Knitty editor, and Jillian Moreno (who is somehow connected with Knitty too, I think) edited “Big Girl Knits” and are going to have a “Big Girl Knits 2″. And I think they’re big girls too, so they know about the need for stylish stuff in larger sizes. I wish they’d get into crochet as well!

Ester is beautiful! Tahoe would be a nice addition to my work wardrobe, and More Stripes is intriguing.

I can’t wait for Big Girl Knits 2! I also wish they would add some crochet. http://www.crochetme.com is a free online crochet mag, but I haven’t found ONE SINGLE plus-sized pattern there.
